How It Started

Kali Cannabis’ owner was providing feedback to a larger MSO group who were looking at the Palmer location. Although the other group walked away, Suzanne decided to invest in the opportunity in Palmer and Kali Cannabis was formed.

Kali Cannabis will be women-owned with Suzanne leading their executive team; she has worked in the industry for 8+ years launching start up operations, passing state inspections with zero deficiencies and successfully operationalizing multiple licenses. Suzanne has worked for several cannabis companies, a cannabis consultant and as a Project Manager with one of the largest MSOs working on pursuits and developments for projects in CO, ME, MO, NM NY, VA & WV. Suzanne is a single mom of 4 adult children and recently moved to Palmer last October. Her passion for cannabis came from wanting to help her daughter who faced a major surgery when she was a teenager and had a preference to use plant based medicines.

Greg Ambrose

Greg has worked in sales for 30+ years leading operations, sales and overseeing National Accounts. He has been a regional sales manager for the past 15 years with a consistent record exceeding a $10m sales quota. Greg brings years of professional experience and operational know-how to our team and will be an asset to the overall operations at Kali Cannabis.

Kali’s Journey

Kali Cannabis held a Groundbreaking Event at 405 Shearer St. Palmer MA. Kali Cannabis is female-owned, locally owned and is creating a compliant cannabis retail store on Rt 32, 800ft off the Mass Pike, Exit 63!

Kali Cannabis received all necessary permits to demo the house this past Spring and have redesigned a 1440sf modular facility. Kali applied to the Cannabis Commission Control in December and received their Provisional License.

Kali’s co-founders, Suzanne Melanson and Greg Ambrose plan to educate consumers on Quality over Quantity by building strategic partnerships in the Cannabis Industry to showcase Quality Products in their store. Kali is building a core team rooted in loyalty, trust, integrity and cannabis knowledge. Every service provider working on the Kali project also has cannabis experience. We look forward to serving the Palmer community and MA marketplace.
